VCSE Digital Skills Survey
Earlier this year, we invited voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) across the South West to take part in a Digital Skills Survey. We wanted to build a clearer picture of digital skills, challenges, and opportunities across the sector.
This was one of the first regional surveys of its kind, delivered by Tech4Good South West in partnership with Quartet Community Foundation.
The survey is now closed, and we’re currently analysing the responses. The final report will be published in September/October 2025. Stay tuned for updates!
Why it exists
Digital skills are essential for how VCSEs deliver services, connect with communities, and collaborate, but they’re still underfunded, especially within smaller organisations.
Our survey was designed to change that by providing real, local evidence to guide future support for tech-for-good initiatives. We heard from a wide range of VCSEs, including volunteer-led groups, frontline service providers and regional charities.
Thanks to the incredible input from organisations across the region, we’re developing a detailed report that will:
Highlight key digital strengths and gaps
Provide evidence to inform future funding and support
Add a local lens to national digital skills work
Amplify the experience of VCSEs in the South West
The final report will be published in September/October 2025.
Who it’s for
We’ll be publishing the findings in autumn 2025.
Report coming soon
We’d like to say a big thanks to everyone who took part in the survey. Your voice is shaping the future community-driven tech projects in the South West.
Stay tuned for updates.
